eCrime Wales Summit 2010

The Welsh e-Crime Summit was held at the Celtic Manor Resort on 15 July 2010. CPS selected the conference as a key regional event at which to participate in response to the Welsh Assembly’s recognition that e-crime is on the increase. Losses incurred by Welsh businesses linked to e-crime in 2009 were at an estimated £ 393 million - more than double that of the previous year.

CPS showcased its range of strong authentication products covering secure data devices that enable business to secure data on the move, as well as identity solutions to ensure access into their data networks cannot be compromised.

Many of the keynote topics addressed during the conference, such as the emergence of cloud-based infrastructures, highlight that security and strong authentication methods are essential if the integrity of services is to be maintained.

From simple encryption of laptop data to fully managed trust services where suppliers and customers can interact over the Internet with complete confidence that all interactions are totally secure, CPS is ideally placed to provide these solutions across a wide range of industries and organisations.
