CPS have invested in new production equipment to ensure we offer our customers the best possible service… and price.
The ID card market is moving more and more towards the use of contact chip modules to increase security for accessing corporate networks.
When combined with the use of a contactless technology such as Mifare, our customers are able to issue a corporate badge which also functions for PC logon, remote user authentication, access control, vending and follow-me printing.
Until now these types of projects have often been expensive largely due to traditional manufacturers only being able to offer larger volumes, with minimum orders as low as 1,000 units. While this was sufficient for initial rollouts, when customers required smaller volumes for replacement cards, the costs were often prohibitively high.
Having invested in our own chip embedding machinery small volumes at sensible prices have now become a part of everyday life for our customers.
We have already produced over 200,000 cards since the introduction of our chip embedding machine, helping our customers win business with a Fortune 500 company and 3 of the FTSE 100 companies.
Working closely with these customers we have been able to produce not only the large initial roll out but, as importantly, we’ve been able to help them with their smaller, on-going needs.
At CPS we have our own full in-house service bureau and fulfilment centre, and we are the UK & Ireland Distributor for Gemalto delivering safe and secure identities for all requirements.
